No one hurt in Sioux Falls house fire

SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KSFY) - Authorities say everyone made it out safe after a house caught fire in northwest Sioux Falls.

The fire broke out Thursday morning on the 800 block of North Teal Place. By the time firefighters arrived, smoke could be seen coming from the house.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within a few minutes. According to Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, a quick call from neighbor allowed firefighters to get to the scene in time to stop the spread of the fire.

Four people were inside the home when the fire broke out, but they all made it out safely. Two pets, including a lizard, also made it out safely.

The extent of the damage is still unknown. Investigators are still looking into the cause.
