No one hurt in Sioux Falls house fire

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Everyone made it out safely after a fire broke out at a home in western Sioux Falls.

The fire broke out around 2:00 a.m. Monday at a home on the 1000 block of S. Newport Place, according to Sioux Falls Fire Rescue.

When crews arrived, they found a fire in the upstairs bathroom of the home. They were able to the flames out within ten minutes.

No one was injured. The fire resulted in smoke damage to the second floor of the home.

The American Red Cross offered assistance to the residents of the home.

The cause is still under investigation.
