No travel advised on Interstate in southeastern portion of South Dakota

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The South Dakota Highway Patrol is advising not to travel on Interstates 29 and 90 in the southeastern part of the state.

Specifically, on I-29, no travel is advised from the Iowa State Line all the way to Brookings and the surrounding highways.

On I-90, no travel is advised from the Minnesota state line to Chamberlain.

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls is reminding drivers to take it slow, don't go over the speed limit and be sure to give yourself enough distance from the car ahead of you.
