Every year the Helpline Center in Sioux Falls looks to recognize people who do good in the community, and you can help.
Nominations are now being accepted through April 1, 2019. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges in categories including Youth, Group, Adult and Corporate Humanitarian. All nominees will be recognized and honored at the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 9th and winners will be announced live by KSFY Morning News anchors Kamie Roesler and Shawn Cable.
In addition, 12 Volunteer of the Month award winners will be recognized during the program and three local high school students will receive a Youth Leadership Award scholarship. The banquet features inspiring stories about unsung heroes going above and beyond to volunteer in the community.
The Helpline Center Volunteer Connections program provides the critical link between those who want to volunteer and the agencies that need them.
