NorthWestern Energy to offer assistance to customers impacted by shutdown

Another company is looking to offer those impacted by the ongoing partial government shutdown.

NorthWestern Energy issued a statement Friday saying anyone affected by the shutdown who is struggling to pay their utility bill is asked to contact the company to discuss payment options and assistance programs.

In addition, NorthWestern Energy encourages federal employees who have been furloughed or whose budgets are impacted by working without pay to reach out to the utility to see what options are available.

NorthWestern Energy can be reached 800-245-6977.

Several other regional companies and organizations have announced plans to help out people impacted by the shutdown.
