One arrested after deadly Sioux Falls stabbing

Sioux Falls, S.D. - One person is dead and another behind bars after an early Sunday morning stabbing.

Christopher Lee Adams is charged with Murder in the 2nd degree and Manslaughter in the 1st degree.

Sioux Falls police say they were sent to the area of West 9th Street and North Evergreen Drive shortly before 8:00 a.m. for a stabbing.

When they arrived they found a 38-year-old man inside the residence with multiple stab wounds.

The suspect in the case, 40-year-old Christopher Lee Adams, was located nearby and taken into custody.

The Sioux Falls Police Department believes the suspect and victim knew each other and at this time are not looking for any other subjects related to this incident.

Adams is being charged with Murder in the 2nd degree, and Manslaughter in the 1st degree.

He is currently being held at the Minnehaha County Jail.
