It's the emotionally-captivating, theatrically breathtaking, enchanting tale of a Dublin Street musician.
Winner of 8 Tony Awards for Best Musical, 'Once' promises a truly original Broadway experience.
It will be in town at the Mary W. Sommervold Hall, Saturday and Sunday February 27 and 28.
"It's a love story that is relate-able to anyone. It's real people, real lives. People you know on the streets. That's my favorite part about the show," HRAC Asst. Manager TJ Polzin said.
It's part of the Washington Pavilion's highly-respected Pavilion Performance Series. So, if you are looking for something unique, this is it.
"The music itself is acoustic, Irish-inspired. No pit orchestra. Every musician is on stage. It's a unique, intimate, theatrical setting," Polzin said. "The set itself is an Irish pub so at intermission, patrons are welcome to go on stage and get drinks from the bar on stage and hang out. That's a really cool thing."
Once is in Sioux Falls Saturday February 27 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday February 28 at 2:00 p.m.
