SDSU women defeat USD in Summit League Championship

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - The South Dakota State University women have defeated the University of South Dakota 83-71 in the Summit League Championship, taking their 9th title.

Jackrabbits senior Macy Miller made history during the game when she became the league's all-time leading scorer. She led the team with 30 points Tuesday afternoon.

SDSU made 50 percent their field goals and went 50 percent from the 3-point line.

Coyotes senior Allison Arens put up 26 points and sophomore Hannah Sjerven led the team with 9 rebounds.
