Salvation Army on pace to reach goal in Sioux Falls

The Salvation Army Red Kettle goal for 2017 is $315,000. December 23 is the last day the kettles will be out in the city, and Major Thomas Riggs says the Salvation Army is on pace to reach that goal.

The donations help a lot of people in the area. It only takes one shift to raise enough money to provide two nights of shelter and four warm meals for the men, women and children who enter the Salvation Army's doors.
