SiouxFalls.Business Report: December 5, 2017

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (SIOUXFALLS.BUSINESS) - Jodi Schwan with SiouxFalls.Business stopped by the KSFY Studio to discuss the latest business news:

It’s a big week for Sanford Health as its international board meets for the first time in the new Sanford Foundation House.

It’s located in northeast Sioux Falls on the campus of the health system’s corporate headquarters, and the hope is people will see it from the interstate and stop in to learn more about the life and legacy of Denny Sanford.

This also is a space for donor relations and the Sanford Foundation’s offices. The international board will meet here once a year and on this week’s agenda: the Sanford Lorraine Cross award, a $1 million prize for research that Sanford will award one year from now.

This week marks the opening of a new restaurant along Elmwood Golf Course.

Crooked Pint Ale House is attached to a new Holiday Inn and Suites. The restaurant has a large menu and specializes in stuffed burgers. There’s also a retractable roof and windows that will open to the golf course.

Crooked Pint has six locations in Minnesota and is a new concept from the owners of Green Mill. It’s open daily for lunch and dinner and will add breakfast once the hotel opens in Feburary.
