SiouxFalls.Business Report: November 28, 2017

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (SIOUXFALLS.BUSINESS) - Jodi Schwan with SiouxFalls.Business stopped by the KSFY Studio to discuss the latest business news:

We’ve got some developments on the far south side of Sioux Falls to report, starting with a new restaurant coming to 85th Street and Western Avenue.

No Regrets will be a tapas-style restaurant. Tapas are small plates, so think gourmet appetizers from a variety of cuisines.

It will be part of the growing Three Fountains area which already has a large apartment complex and an office building. The plan is to open late summer or early fall next year.

Moving just a little east, we also have an update on a new medical center designed to serve the growing south side of Sioux Falls and nearly Harrisburg and Tea.

Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital will open its first urgent care clinic at 85th Street and Minnesota Avenue next week. The design was inspired by an Apple store because they’re hoping to create a patient-centered experience similar to how Apple products attract customers. T

his type of medical care is designed for everything from earaches to twisted ankles and cuts requiring stitches – but not the kinds of issues that require emergency room visits.

Expect to see more urgent care clinics from Sioux Falls Specialty if this works out – they’re already looking at other locations.
