Sixth annual 'Spooky Seas' event held in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls, S.D. - A group of kids got to Trick-or-Treat a little early Friday. It’s all thanks to the sixth annual Spooky Seas event. It’s one of the fundraisers that the Butterfly House puts on. Lots of kids were decked out in costumes. Organizers said their event is special and offers something unique for those that attend.

“The great thing about this is its different than all other ones because you still get to look at aquariums, you get to touch sharks and stingrays, and you get different characters. It’s inside so we don't have to worry what weather is doing here in South Dakota,” Marketing Coordinator at the Butterfly House, Lindsey Barwald said.

More than 400 people were at the trick or treating event Friday playing games and even getting their faces painted.
