SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - "The King and I" opens Tuesday night at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, and cast members have been busy getting ready.
Set in Bangkok, the musical tells the story of an unconventional relationship that develops between a king and a British schoolteacher.
Cast members said the shows offers something for everyone.
"The music is really beautiful, and of course there is a touching message that this play brings to the audiences," Paulina Yeung, who plays Tuptim, said. "They will for sure laugh cry with us."
The show runs through Thursday. Performances are at 7:30 each night.
