SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - The Market in downtown Sioux Falls officially has a dynasty on its hands.
For the fourth year in a row, the restaurant has been named the winner of the Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle competition.
This year's offering was the Go-chu burger, featuring wagyu beef, house-made kimchi, smoky provolone, radish micro greens and gochujang aioli, with the bun dusted with wasabi powder.
Twelve restaurants took part in this year's battle. More than 8,000 ballots were submitted in the competition, and The Market sold more than 1,000 burgers, reports SiouxFalls.Business.
Diners rated the burgers on patty, presentation, toppings and bun as well as customer service.
The South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation sponsored the 6th annual competition that ran Jan. 2-31.
