"It's cool because at first people back away because of a stigma, and then they listen and they experience it," Denham said.
"They realize a good song is a good song regardless of genre. I think they learn to appreciate it and learn they can like something they don't normally like, and it's something that is coming from the area too, so that makes it even cooler," he said.

The live music scene is growing in the growing city of Sioux Falls, but Denham says it's up to the people to keep it moving forward.
"People want music around here, and if you want it to be predominate and actually have good musicians, then you gotta go to stuff," he said.
Corey Vasquez manages Denham Music Entertainment LLC and has been working with the artist to promote his brand.
"Most people think we outsource everything, but really everything we have done is local. There is so much talent in this community. Sioux Falls is an incredible place," Vasquez said.
Vasquez is from California & has made his home in Sioux Falls.
Ahead of a performance in Sioux Falls this St. Patty's Day, Denham has just released a new song this past week with Minneapolis hip hop artist P.O.S.
"It's crazy the places music has taken me. We went on our first tour last fall. It was 16 places in 6 weeks," he said.
Denham has opened for some big names in hip-hop including, B.O.B. and Shwayze. Vasquez says Denham is someone he will continue to stand behind.
"I'm surprised someone hasn't picked him up as of yet. I think honestly the sky is so the limit for him," he said.
