The Summit League Tournament tips off this Saturday

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KSFY) - Eight men and women teams will compete for a chance to be in the NCAA tournament.

The Summit League tips off this Saturday and continues into Tuesday.

Teams include South Dakota State University, University of South Dakota, North Dakota State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Oral Roberts, University of North Dakota, Western Illinois, Omaha men's team, and Denver women's team.

This year things will be a little bit more chaotic with the Sportsmen's Show happening in the Sioux Falls Convention Center & Arena, so be sure to head out early to get a parking spot.

On Saturday, the South Dakota State women will play Purdue Fort Wayne at noon with the University of South Dakota women following at 2:30 PM against North Dakota State University.

The SDSU men will go up against Western Illinois University at 6:00 PM and USD men will take on Purdue Fort Wayne at 8:30 PM on Sunday.

The championship for the women will take place on March 12th at 1:00 PM. The championship for the men will tip off March 12th at 8:00 PM.
