MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KSFY) - The Super Bowl is just three days away now, and something football fans and non-fans alike can enjoy is the halftime show.
This year, Justin Timberlake is the performer, and KSFY News Reporter Kamie Roesler got word from him Thursday in Minneapolis.
It's been fourteen years since that infamous Super Bowl moment between Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. The former 'NSYNC star is taking the stage this Sunday mid-Super Bowl, and Thursday he would not reveal much about what is in store.
At a special press conference, the now 36-year-old pop star was welcomed with a warm "Happy Birthday." He answered questions about his upcoming performance, but really only confirmed two things - 'NSYNC will not be making a comeback appearance, and he will be singing a little of "Can't Stop The Feeling."
Otherwise, he limited his hints and reveals.
Justin Timberlake will make history this year at Super Bowl 52 being the only performer to grace the world's biggest stage three times -- 2001, 2004 and now 2018.
People loved Gaga, so we will see if he can top her epic performance last year.
"Minnesotans have totally debunked the rumor that us Southerners thought that people from the north were not as nice as us, it's been great...I mean I wish you would turn the heat up a little for us, but it's been great," he said at the press conference.
Timberlake will host a private party at Prince's Paisley Park Thursday night, something he says is an huge honor.
