UPDATE: Two people injured in Sioux Falls shooting

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - UPDATE 11:40 a.m. May 20

Sioux Falls police are still searching for answers following Friday night's shooting that left two people were injured.

Police said they haven't received much cooperation from the victims and witnesses.

As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE: According to Sgt. Tarah Walton with the Sioux Falls Police Department, an adult victim sustained a non-life threatening injury, and a juvenile was seriously hurt but is expected to be okay.

Witnesses told police officers a confrontation occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex and shots were fired. The two individuals with injuries were then taken to the hospital Friday night.

An arrest has not been made in the case, but the public is not believed to be in any danger. The investigation is ongoing.
According to a sergeant with the Sioux Falls Police Department, the shooting happened around 9:30 PM Friday at Hidden Hills Apartments in Sioux Falls.

Two people were injured with gunshot wounds, but the extent of their injuries is unknown. Police would not release any information on their identity.

The shooting happened within the apartment complex on the 900 block of Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls. But officials aren't sure if it was inside an apartment or not.

The situation is contained to that area, but police officers are still asking tenants there for more information about what exactly happened.
