VERMILLION, S.D. (KSFY) - South Dakota's oldest winery is hosting its annual festival and grape stomp this weekend.
The Great Dakota Wine Fest will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valiant Vineyards located at 1500 W. Main St. in Vermillion.
The festival will feature live music, cooking with wine demonstrations, arts and crafts vendors, a grape stomp and an amateur wine-making competition.
Visitors can also learn new facts about the locally-grown hybrid grapes and South Dakota’s native species.
