'Very Merry Toy Drive' benefits Children's Inn with hip hop concert

A 20-year-old from Sioux Falls wants to make a difference this holiday season. He is working together with a local bar to host a concert for Children's Inn.

"I'm doing the 'Very Merry Toy Drive' Friday December 21st at Bigs Bar on West 12th street next to the old Kmart," Taran Jaber said.

Jaber is a local hip hop artist looking to help out this Christmas. He is trying to raise money for the emergency shelter in Sioux Falls. Children's Inn helps victims of abuse in the Sioux Falls area.

"I'm trying to give back to some kids that deserve it. I have my Christmas presents bought for everyone I need to, the extra money we make here, I want to give back to the kids who don't get Christmas," he said.

Doors open at 7 that night. Many artists will be performing. A $5 donation of $5 toy donation will get you in the door.

Children's Inn is especially in need of teenager and baby gifts.
