Slow Cooker Glazed Carrots


2 pounds baby carrots
1/2 onion, cut into thin, half-moon slivers
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup orange marmalade
Zest of 1 orange
Juice of 1 orange
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons light brown sugar


In a 4-quart or larger slow cooker, combine all ingredients except brown sugar; mix well. Cook on HIGH 2-1/2 hours; stir in brown sugar, and cook an additional 30 minutes or until carrots are fork-tender.
