After a three year wait, racing returns to I-90 Speedway

After three years of waiting, drivers were finally able to start their engines at I-90 Speedway in Hartford on Saturday night.

Racing was supposed to begin six weeks ago, but heavy rainfall throughout the spring left the track damaged, and continuously pushing back the start the date.

The track welcomed Tri-State Late Model Series on Saturday, as well as more than 2,300 fans who came out to support.
