Kastigar finishes Northern State career with All-American finish

Indianapolis – Hannah Kastigar capped off her Northern State swim career in the only way she knows how, as an All-American. The senior finished third in the 200 breaststroke from the NCAA National Championships, concluding a full week of competition.

She qualified for the final heat as the fourth seed with a prelims time of 2:15.00. The Aberdeen native not only moved up a position in the standings in finals, but also broke her own school record with a race time of 2:13.02.

Kastigar finishes the week with four All-American awards, including a NCAA National Championship in the 400 IM. She is an 8-time All-American and 3-time NCAA National Champion for the Wolves, and holds numerous Northern State and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference records.

She exhausts her eligibility has the most decorated swimmer in Northern State University history, and more-over one of the most accomplished Wolves student-athletes.
