USD women's hoops climbs up to No. 23 nationally

NEW YORK—South Dakota women's basketball improved to No. 23 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll announced Monday afternoon. The Coyotes improved two spots from last week when the Coyotes cracked the top-25 for the first time in program history.

In the Coyotes' lone game last week, South Dakota topped Western Illinois 83-61 on the road. Four players reached double figures led by sophomore center Hannah Sjerven's 20 points.
