Waselenchuk earns single's title in Lewis Drug Racquetball championship

It took under an hour to crown this year's Lewis Drug Pro-Am Racquetball Champion.
After not competing last year due to an MCL injury, it was a special day for third ranked Kane Waselenchuk.
The 13-time U.S. Open Pro Singles Champion facing fourth ranked Daniel De La Rosa he also has won in Sioux Falls.
It was Waselenchuk that stole the show today though, winning 15-4, 15-2.
"I'm very fortunate that I have been able to play on tour for as long as I have and after 20 years have that being my first you know real injury. Obviously it was something difficult to handle you know? Sitting back and watching people win when I know there was a good chance I could win those. I think going through something like that i think makes you a better player. It was a little tough at the beginning but I decided to embrace it and make the best of it," said Waselenchuk.
