USD Reaction After NCAA Tourney Loss

KSFY's Kamie Roesler has reaction from the Coyotes after their 79-66 loss to Clemson in the NCAA Tournament.

STARKVILLE, Miss.—South Dakota’s lone senior Allison Arens wrapped up her collegiate career Friday evening in the NCAA Tournament with a first-round loss, 79-66, to Clemson inside Humphrey Coliseum.

It seems like South Dakota State and Quinnipiac are more similar than different for being five seeds apart. Both teams enter with 26-and-6 records, are on win streaks that rank among the top in the nation, and are receiving votes in the nation pole.

South Dakota State has momentum riding into tomorrow’s first round. The Jacks ride a 16-game win streak, but 11th seeded Quinnipiac enters with the nation’s second longest win streak with 21 meaning this is no ordinary six verses 11th seed matchup.
